Ministry with the Missionaries of Charity: Piñata :)
Week of training for the Hondurans- "Semana de entrenamiento"
December Mission was in Santa Helen.
Transportation is always an adventure (picture on left). One of our guitars fell off the bus when we were on our way to Santa Helen. I guess they did not tie it down enough. haha (picture on right)
Ready for the mountains!
This is one of the paths we took to visit houses in the morning.
One of the houses.
This is one of the families that I met. These kids are the poorest of the poor but their happiness was uncontainable. I could have played with them all day. They are literally angels on Earth giving this community (and everyone else they come into contact with) the joy they need to face all the trails and sufferings of this world.
A little look inside our bathroom in Santa Helena!

These are pictures of a little boy named Josue. The top two pictures are a follow-up with him a few months later. When we first saw him (bottom picture)he was wasting away. He suffers from multiple disorders and the two many problems are his hydrocephalus and his cleft lip. The parents have had many trips to Teucigalpa and Comayagua to talk with doctors but due to his many different problems they said they are unable to help. The travel is very difficult especially on Josue so as of now the family does not want to try any more surgeries and just spend time with him. The mother has been a quick learner and is able to feed him a safer way now and is not afraid to hold him. With a little more time, prayer, and love he will keep getting stronger :)
