Sorry for the very messy Blog...haha  As you can tell I am having problems with the links :)

Ten misericordia de mi!

So what are the links above?

They are slides shows that Myrna Leonard created for every week she was here. She is a lovely women who came down for a month to share her gifts and skills with the community. While she was here she was able to share her knowledge of physical theraphy and help create a stronger physical theraphy program for the kids/teens in our neighborhood. What a Blessing!

Do not forget we all have been given talents, small and big. Have you shared the talents you have been given lately????  (Matthew 25:14-30)

Enjoy the videos!

Hola!

Welcome to my first Blog ever. I am not a writer so bare with me with any spelling or grammar errors :)

Why a Blog...
For those that do not know I am currently volunteering with an organization called "Missioners of Christ". This is the best way to keep family, friends, and anyone else interested updated on my life in Honduras. :)

Here we go...
I arrived in Honduras about three weeks ago and I am currently in Guatemala finishing up with Spanish School. These three weeks have been filled with new adventures, struggles, and experiencing God in little ways. So what has happened...well I experienced my first 6.5 Earthquake (everyone is okay), I experienced a mini flood, saw my first tarantula and have been able to learn a lot about the culture. This weekend is Guatemala Independence day and it has been filled with festivities. It has been so beautiful to walk the cobble streets with the parades, the music, the history of the buildings and to see the Guatemala culture alive.

Well, now that school is almost over it is time to go back to Honduras and start mission work! Hopefully I will have more time later to write a longer Blog on reflections and give more details on life in Central America. Until then...
